MOMMY


The bond with a mother is unlike any other. It can bring burning pain if the connection is strained, yet offer profound joy if it's strong.
I had been using TikTok, as a place to hone my storytelling skills and express my creativity.
Last year, I worked on a tribute to my mom, on Mother's Day.
I also wanted to share this story with friends on other socials offering strength to those who may need it to break a cycle or seek help if necessary. It's a story of love, tragedy, and mental illness, as we all bear our own traumas in this journey we call life. My wish for each of you is to feel blessed with a mother's love, now and always.

Lather, Rinse, Ruminate.

  I had just stepped out of the shower and felt compelled to sit down and write. Something about the shower always helps me regroup. It’s like dropping puzzle pieces on the floor and seeing where they land. I’ve always been inspired by strong women who’ve walked hard roads and come out on top, by whatever metric you choose: success, visibility, power, money.
